Reason: This is basically a must win game if Connor4real wants to make a playoff push. We are almost at the mid season mark and being under .500 after week 7 is really bad. Antonios’ roster looks good enough for a playoff spot but in games against would-be playoff contenders (like Connor4rReal) this is also a must win. Antonio’s roster should savage Connor’s on most weeks.
Alvin and the Chipmonks vs. Odells Kitchen
Winner: Odells Kitchen
Reason: More like Alvin and the cautionary tale of why kickers are dumb and wasting a draft pick on them instead of taking Hollywood Brown is the height of folly. Kickergate cursed at least one of Jake’s teams and this is the one. The roster looks salvageable enough until you check out the quarterbacks. Just not good enough to compete when “stars” are fading each week. Odells Kitchen is going to be serving up a W and eating it whole when Jameis scores 3 touchdowns.
The Gurley Show vs. Fournette's Syndrome
Winner: The Gurley Show
Reason: I waffled on this a bunch. Injures will make the biggest difference in this contest. David Johnson, Sammy Watkins, Todd Gurley and Vance McDonald all could miss this week but Gurley Show is more prepared to absorb these losses then Fourtnette’s Syndrome.
Tig Ol' Bitties vs. The Cleveland Clowns
Winner: Tig Ol' Bitties
Reason: It’s hard to imagine that I could pick Tig ‘Ol Bitties at the beginning of the year to beat the best team in the league in week 5 but here I am maybe taking crazy pills. The Clowns have real weak running back sauce this week and while Brady and Mahomes both have good matchups I’m not confident either will put up top 5 numbers which will be what he needs to take on Tig. Go Browns.
Ur addicted to toothpaste vs. Chubbarumba
Winner: Chubbarumba
Reason: If Tyreek plays in full this week I might give a slight edge to Ur addicted but I don;t think he will. Impressed as always by the lineup Chubb has this week minus Hock and Fant both starting wayyyyy too much bust potential.
Mr Jones and Me vs. Hey Darnold
Winner: Hey Darnold
Reason: If there will ever be another shot at taking down Hey Darnold this season ti will be while they are without a QB and possibly without Hollywood Brown.
