Winner: The Gurley Show
Reason: Really disappointing news that Lev Bell may be kept out of Monday night’s game. Antonio Brown might not be a huge factor in Miami either; if he even plays. Both of these would be huge losses for Connor4Real. The fill-ins this week (Chark and McLaurin) don’t inspire much confidence. Although I don’t love the matchups for The Gurley Show this week I like the talent more than Connor 4 sure.
Antonios Helmet Services LLC vs. Fournette's Syndrome
Winner: Fournette's Syndrome
Reason: Really bad QB matchups for Anotnios Helmet this week which might be the deal breaker for me. Both teams are loaded if Lockett plays. Can’t say I love Peterson but with Guice out I know he’ll get lots of action. Toss up for sure between two really good teams.
Chubbarumba vs. Hey Darnold
Winner: Hey Darnold
Reason: So I love McCaffrey, Chubb and Cooper (I am also really warming up to Marlon Mack) but that’s about it in this lineup. Reed is on his 8th concussion, Singletary has a crowded backfield, Godwin has a tough go of it on a Thursday and Donte Moncrief literally can’t catch. Hey Darnold has some good play-makers and if Henry goes off for another long score it won’t be close. I am worried about Robbie Anderson and Greg Olson but that pales in comparison to my issues with Chubbarumba.
Tig Ol' Bitties vs. Odells Kitchen
Winner: Odells Kitchen
Reason: Tig Ol’ Bitties needs to do something fast because damn this roster is bad. I don’t think you need to be an expert to look at the starting lineup of Tony Pollard, Ted Ginn, Kenny Stills, Mohamed Sanu and understand the issue here. Odells Kitchen is good enough to stomp their opponent.
Ur addicted to toothpaste vs. Mr Jones and Me
Winner: Mr Jones and Me
Reason: No tight end is ganna be a yikes from me and I don’t think Mike Williams is going to play so that further degrades this lineup. I really like the upside of Metcalf, Parker and Allison but when you’re playing against a team that doesn’t have many question marks in their lineup you wont win. Not sure if I really love the QB’s for Mr Jones and Me but Fuller and Howard as flex plays are good enough to see this team through.
The Cleveland Clowns vs. Alvin and the Chipmonks
Winner: Alvin and the Chipmonks
Reason: I really like a Sony Michel rebound game. I can feel it in Bill’s heart he wants to get Sony a score this week. As much as I love the Clown’s QB matchups I really like Alvin and the Chipmonks’ QBs this week as well. If Mixon doesn’t play the deep bench that Alvin has can compensate enough to stave off defeat. I really don’t like chasing points with Rex Burkhead and John Brown. Also the limited work of Penny got in week 1 is very frustrating and not good for his rosterability (let alone startability).
