Free Agency Day 2
Free Agents
1. Gerald McCoy (DT) Signed by the Dallas for 3 years, $18,300,000, $9,000,000 guaranteed. 7/10 McCoy isn’t done yet, adding him to any team is valuable even if he isn’t a full time starter.
2. Danny Shelton (DL) Signed by the Lions for 2 years, $8,000,000, $4,000,000 guaranteed. 7/10 A great value here for sure, another Patriot for Matty P the rocket scientist.
3. Linval Joseph (DT) Signed by the Chargers for 2 years, $17,000,000, $9,500,000 guaranteed. 4/10 Too much money for a guy on his way out. Still valuable as a player but not for 8.5 a year.
4. Dante Fowler (DE) Signed by the Falcons for 3 years, $48,000,000. 6/10 Big deal for Fowler but I think it’s well deserved. Replacing Vic Beasly will be easy for Fowler. I’’m probably more of a fan than most but if gets enough time at the position Fowler can still be a star.
5. Leonard Floyd (LB) Signed by the Rams for 1 year, $10,000,000, 10,000,000 guaranteed. 6/10 Wish this was for longer rather than a prove it deal. I have a sneaking suspicion he’s getting a big 3rd contract if he can stay healthy next year.
6. Sean Davis (S) Signed by the Redskins for 1 year, $5,000,000. 5/10 Straight neutral here, could be good this year but was injured most of last.
7. Chris Harris (CB) Signed by the Chargers for 2 years, $20,000,000. 8/10 Harris can still be a lock down corner. If the Chargers think they can win now with Tyrod this is 10/10 singing but I’m unsure if the team is ready for a playoff push.
8. Devon Kennard (LB) Signed by the Cardinals for 3 year, $20,000,000. 7/10 Not too much money for a starting linebacker. I’m a fan of this cardinals offseason.
9. Bruce Irvin (LB) Signed by the Seahawks for 4 years, 34,000,000. 5/10 Bruce is getting older but he can still be a contributor. The Seahawks are making a run so getting Irvin is a good move to help replace Clowney.
10. Brandon Shell (OT) Signed by the Jets for 4 years, $2,575,966 5/10 Not sure who this guy is but depth is important and PFF doesn’t hate him.
11. Michael Pierce (DT) Signed by the Vikings for 3 years, $27,000,000  $18,000,000 guaranteed. 7/10 A very good free agent at a good cost and length, getting him till he turns just about 30. Good use of cap space now that Diggs is gone.
12. Rodney Gunter (DT) Signed by the Jaguars for 1 year, 1,750,000. 5/10 Another guy to fit into the rotation. A fine signing.
12. Desmond Trufant (CB) Signed by the Lions for 2 years, $21,000,000, $14,000,000 guaranteed. 7/10 Mostly guaranteed contract but only two years the Lions are signing everyone out here sot hey are making a push for sure. Love adding to this roster with Slay.
13. Karl Joseph (S) Signed by the Browns for 1 year. 6/10 Unsure of the details right now but the Browns need safety help, I thought they might address it in the draft and they still might. But Joseph is a worthy replacement level starter.

Trade
1. Duron Harmon (DB) Traded to the Lions for a “flip of late round picks” to the Patriots. The Patriots got some cap relief and the Lions got another starter to revamp their defense and potentially go on a run. Verdict: Both teams win, not much lost.
2. Nick Foles QB) Traded by Jaguars to the Bears for a 4th round pick. Wow the Bears offseason is getting worse and worse. I’m surprised the Jags even go something out of Foles, i thought they would have to unload the contract with additional picks (like Oswiler) to move Foles but they got a 4th rounder which isn’t anything to laugh at. Verditc: Jaguars win in a big way, the Bears don’t lose too much but paying the contract really hurts even if Foles is better than Mitch.

Resigned
1. Sean Lee (LB) Resigned by Dallas for 1 year, $4,500,000, $2,000,000 guaranteed. 8/10 Great deal, when healthy he provides a huge boost to the Dallas defense.
2. Brian Poole (CB) Resigned with Jets for 1 year, $5,000,000, $5,000,000 guaranteed. 4/10 Not really a fan of Poole, would rather replace him on the Jets with someone who could be the long term answer there.
3. Andrew Witworth (OT) Resigned with Rams 3 year, $30,000,077, $12,500,000 guaranteed. 9/10 Great resigning, he is so necessary for this offense, since he is the only competent o-lineman on the team. The deal is easily get outable as well so this is almost perfect.

Cut
1. Eric Reid (S) Release by Panthers. Makes sense he was really bad last year and the rebuild has begun in Carolina.
