Reason: Not sure where all the love for Adrian Wilson is coming from but I don’t think he deserves to start in such a shallow league. EdgySlayerBoi’s team is almost too solid this week. Fournette and Gurley blow the water out of Drake and Lindsay all else being equal. Fairly easy win for EdgySlayerBoi.
All Aboard The Saquon Train vs. Chet Ubetcha
Winner: All Aboard The Saquon Train
Reason: I’m really low on Chet Ubetcha’s RBs and the wide receiving group has a #1 guy but that’s about it. If Mahomes had a better matchup and Zeke wasn’t just returning from an absence it would be a closer game. Not a huge fan of Ridley or Hooper this week but they should provide enough value for a win here.
Da Blochinators vs. Porkchop Sandwiches
Winner: Da Blochinators
Reason: Really close game here; I actually switched who I picked to win when I revisited this matchup. Most of this game is fairly balanced besides maybe the WR3s on each team. I’d rather have Fuller than Robbie Anderson. But I’d also rather have Njoku and Carson than Delanie Walker and Guice.
Behind the Steel Curtain vs. Penny(s)
Winner: Behind the Steel Curtain
Reason: Most weeks you’re ganna have to have a perfect lineup with perfect matchups to beat The Steel Curtain. Starting Miles Sanders and Rashaad Penny in committee backfields wont cut it. If Kelce destroys the Jaguars’ defense and Matt Ryan lights up Minnesota than Penny(s) has a shot.
Stud Muffins vs. Me and Julio Down by the Schoolyard
Winner: Stud Muffins
Reason: Top to bottom this team is good; this week especially. I like about half of Me and Julio’s squad but guys like Aaron Jones, Derek Henry, and Curtis Samuel have bad matchups and are going to be busts this year. Stud Muffins by a good margin.
Stairway to Kevin vs. Marianne Williamson's Crystals
Winner: Marianne Williamson's Crystals
Reason: If I give in to the prevailing theory that Hunter Henry is going to be good this year (against my better judgement) I guess I like Marianne Williamson’s Crystals better. A close matchup for sure. James White and Tarik Cohen are basically the same player and I dislike Jacobs and Mack just about the same. This game might come down to Russel Wilson having an easier matchup than Roethlisberger. Good luck to both teams, you’re ganna need it.
