Think most waivers are running through Wednesday because of the game.
Check it out, we are serious at this point in the season.
Some thoughts quick:
- Don’t add Colin Johnson, I like him going forward but this was a momentary flash in the pan (with Chark out as well)
- I don’t like adding Akers, LAR have been and will continue using a split backfield
- SEA defense has been played well and they get bad teams the next two weeks (NYG, then NYJ, then maybe WAS)
- I saw Deebo Samuel on the CBS list for waiver wire adds and if he is available he needs to be snatched up IMMEDIATELY
1. Keke Coutee: Big long term investment here. Steven Mitchell Jr. played a few snaps last week and people seem to think maybe Isaiah Coulter might get time with Fullers absence. But the biggest benfiticanry is Coutee and that really steps from Cobb being out.
2. Devontae Booker: Short term deal here if Jacobs is out Booker is a clear start.
3. Frank Gore: He is inevitable, everyone else gets hurt and he stands strong. Maybe Ty Johnson will get some snaps but I’m more interested in the ageless wonder.
4. Breshad Perriman: Proving me wrong even with Darnold back, his performance against MIA was impressive and worth and add (along with Mimms).
5. Logan Thomas: How is he not owned everywhere. Alex Smith at the head of WAS offense is very different than Kyle Allen and Haskins. Important.
6. Mitchell Trubisky: Lions and Texans are the next two matchups, worth a look.
7. Hunter Renfrow: Ehhhh, he’s still my safest Raider WR but I don’t love it.
8. Kyle Rudolph: If Irv is out (IDK about Thielen) he’s worth an add, TE is hella shallow.
9. Bisi Johnson: If Thieln is out, I think he won’t be so that’s why he’s number 9, then worth an add. Had more yards than Jefferson last week =)
Huh I thought there would be better adds this week but there really aren’t.
