ONly the best takes here.

Week 12, 2020 NFL Reactions

CAR vs. MIN

  • Good first run from Davis, cut back and made his own path

  • CAR defense impressing on MIN first drive, Cook is hard to stop for sure but everyone else they are playing well against

  • Good long drive from MIN on the opening, Jefferson with a slant for a TD. Really missing Bradberry in the secondary

  • Curtis Samuel with a nice RB looking move, certainly is small enough

  • MIN defense stepping up big the first two drives

  • The times when the MIN offensive line isn’t blocking perfectly Davlin does the rest

  • Don’t love to see Kirk staring down receivers a lot but he has been doing it through the first quarter and is succeeding

  • If MIN could tackle this defense wouldn’t have let up any first downs in the first quarter

  • Feel like I should be seeing more from these MIN linebackers, they are not even there. lol as soon as I say that Kendricks gets a pick on a bad throw over the middle from Teddy

  • MIN CBs are not letting anything get to any WR except Samuel early on, crazy

  • Davis just fell down and missed a first as he was running, real bad stuff here

  • Play action good deep ball (almost) on a double covered Moore that was almost a TD

  • JK Robbie will just do it a few plays later, the speed has been killing MIN this game

  • Very fast first half before Kirk leads his 2 minute drill

  • Kirk getting a relatively clean pocket to throw from on the two minute drill

  • Oh god I forgot about the Chinn back to back touchdowns, those were nice but forced by Kerr on the first one on a good strip-sack (Kirk looked like he kinda threw it but whatever) and the second was kinda forced by Chinn and also Roy.

  • Kirk under pressure throwing the ball with authority

  • Kirk down by 11 leading a dope as fuck comeback

  • Moore just wide open in the zone, that’s a yikes

  • Love seeing Teddy scramble, he’s a big dude and moves like one but he has small man tendencies (in the best way possible)

  • Kirk with crazy pressure in his face makes a great throw to Beebe for a 15 yard game

  • Good pressure from CAR but good step up from Kirk and blocking to try and stop Burns from getting to the QB

  • Kirk overthrow in the endzone kinda throwing it away

  • Great over the shoulder catch from Robbie Anderson wow, good throw too put it right in the breadbasket

  • Side-arm throw from Teddy just dropped by Anderson, what weird back to back plays

  • Kirk fell on the second sack (?), it looks like it was a screen play too

  • Bisi with a good catch (has the most yards in this game)

  • Jefferson with a good route on the second TD

  • Kirk and Bisi with two great individual plays for the 2 point conversion

  • Wilson with a good play in the backfield for MIN

  • MIN with a terrible muffed punt wow, how did they not capitalize more, hella credit to MIN for playing well this week

  • Moore down with the non-contact injury after a big overthrow from Teddy

  • Kirk with an impressive 2 minute drill again for the score to win the game (eventually)

  • Sly missing the final field goal caps a very sad day for him (blocked chip shot early in the 3rd quarter too)

Final Thoughts: Cool to see Bisi get more involved even with Thielen back on the team, shouldn’t forget about him. Hopefully MIN doesn’t forget either. MIN defense played very well this game, not too much pressure but the secondary was killing it all day. They limited the receivers most of the day except when Robbie used his breakaway speed. Kirk had a fine game but the stats are better than he performed imo (but I already have a high opinion of him).

NE vs. ARI

  • INT on the second play, sounds about Cam

  • Drake pushing in for the TD with the line

  • Really surprised the ARI offense could not score more

  • Cam with an almost good outside throw but was just out of bounds

  • First completion a short one for Cam, Byrd gets the first on the yards after catch

  • Hopkins still good confirmed even with Gilmore back, just not perfect you know. Also might have been Gilmore’s best game

  • Chase being held in check through the first quarter, surprising. This ARI O-line keeps confusing me. They are better than I expect constantly.

  • NE getting a boost from the special teams

  • Cam’s only value is running the ball

  • White with a good run for the TD, credit there but surprising we didn’t see Harris for the score

  • Simmons beating White for the sack is good for him (I’ve said his best quality was blitzing!)

  • Getting Andy Isabella involved is so smart, idk why they ever got away from him

  • Smart by Kyler to throw the ball away on what might have been a designed run

  • NE really holding Kyler in check running the ball that’s impressive

  • Good blocking out in space on the WR jailbreak from ARI

  • ARI should have had more points going into half but too close to overturn that call it looks like

  • Jackson with a good play from NE on a WR screen

  • Another big play in the special teams from NE, Belichick always made sure special teams was well prepped/maintained

  • Running the ball is so key in this game and the ARI defense is trash

  • It frankly is embarrassing the lack of accuracy from Cam, especially from going from Tom to him

  • Big tipped ball INT now for ARI, Chase Win with an almost tip

  • Harris couldn’t get the TD now White comes in and gets it

  • More good special teams play from NE

  • I’m seriously surprised Cam has any completions at all this game

  • Gilmore is doing a great job on Hop, probably game saving levels of good play from him

  • Kyler has to get it done in the 4th and he’s running way more

  • Drake with a great cut outside, love the vision. Reminding us why he was an early round pick in fantasy

  • Kyler rolling out and finding nothing, good play by NE defense. Have to take them more seriously now

  • Good throw from Cam with 8 to go!

  • Cam coming alive to Meyers, he’s the only guy I trust on this offense. Even with Harry back

  • Cam throwing such a shitty INT was inevitable with the way he was playing

  • Tipped ball CATCH by Andy Issy. Can’t trust him until Larry is gone unfortunately

  • Legit surprised we saw another sack from ARI, NE line is great

  • The Simmons hit on Cam was very unfortunate, hard to blame him as much as I want to

Final Thoughts: Quicker game for sure, one of the games I def needed to rewatch. My opinion on the NE defense def went higher and I think my opinion of Cam was lowered. It’s ganna be hard for NE to score more than 20 points if they only got that many vs the ARI defense. ARi defenses till bad, maybe Simmons is coming on but only as 3/4 blitzing linebacker who will take years to develop. Meyers is legti good WR, when NE gets a new QB he’s gonna have a good compliment of weapons.

SF vs. LAR

  • Mullens not looking great, no surprise here but he isn’t the key to the offense

  • Brown fumble, not great

  • Goff not looking good under pressure

  • Deebo on an end around

  • SF blocking has not gotten worse with Kittle out, so far

  • Lots of turnovers this game, Jeff Wilson? Why is he still in there

  • LA defense picking up where they left off last week, very good unit. SF blocking has been very good tho in response

  • End arounds seem to be working the best vs SF

  • Crazy how well the LAR receivers are being covered by SF, the defense is winning this game through the first half

  • Donald finally getting a good amount of pressure late in the first half

  • Jalen getting a little greedy trying to strip the ball

  • Ward forcing a fumble on Goff late in the game

  • Mullens puts a perfect ball for Jordan Matthews but he dropped it (figures)

  • Mullens comes back with a bad throw

  • SF missed a long field goal before the half

  • Goff under pressure makes a very errant throw for a SF TD, good job on the SF defense

  • Williams (LAR) made a good read on a bad ball but dropped the easy INT

  • Wilson with a good run, thought it was Mostert

  • Deebo breaking tackles and getting a first, good on him that he doesn’t get affected by the bad QB play

  • Good job on the LAR defensive line for getting at Mullens. LAR beating SF O-line more, obi help from Donald

  • Reynold with a good route on Sherman

  • Very close field goals in this game

  • Damn Darnold demolished his blocker, forced a fumble and LAR recovered it for a score. Crazy how he just created 6 points out of simple SF run

  • Then Donald gets a sack, holy fuck

  • Good run by Akers but it was just one good run. People will go crazy for it. I value caution here

  • SF did a good job blocking earlier in the game but in the fourth they are getting fucking bodied

  • Deebo not as good of running back as Mostert and Wilson

  • Hyder with two sacks, surprising it’s not Armstead or Kinlaw getting them

  • Hecker with a great punt the special teams gunners hella fucked up

  • Deebo great job exploding after catch and after Williams (CB) fell down

  • Great run stuff on third by LA but Juszczyk got it on 4th down

  • Donld got fucked up on a block before the field goal lol

Final Thoughts: Goff outplayed Mullens and it wasn’t close. I don’t think the longest air yards for a completion from Mullens was longer than 7 yards. Deebo did so much work for his team on offense it’s kinda funny. SF blocked a lot etter early on in the game especially in the run. Both defenses are really good, they carried this entire game. If the SF defense is good enough to beat LAR then I think I need to raise my awareness of them. The offense isn’t good for SF especially the QB but they have some good players (who are healthyish). Cam Akers can be a flash in the pan don’t buy too high if you can avoid it. Goff under pressure wasn’t too bad this game, he was good. Think it’s hard to trust any RB here but I’m on Henderson and Mostert.

NO vs. DEN

  • My one note is make sure you have at least 1 healthy QB when you play the best all around team in the NFL.

  • Also Taysom Hill didn’t play that well vs a good defense, please note he is no where near Drew Brees level he is on a level way less than Teddy with the Saints too.

NYG vs. CIN

  • Ready for the Brandon Allen show =)

  • Gallman pushing to the sticks

  • Good deepish (20 yards?) ball from Jones to Engram. Good job on Engram to get the separation and beat the defender

  • CIN defense hanging tough for 3 downs but not for the 4th, worried the NYG line could not get it done before then tho

  • Return touchdown was cool, next!

  • Very bad answer drive from NYG, no separation from the receivers, and an almost coverage sack on third down

  • Allen with a high throw for a biggish completion

  • Allen had a checkdown but there was a guy deep that he threw it to, Peppers made a nice play to just barley break it up. Good all around

  • Higgins is the go to guy on third down and long, hmmmmmm

  • Jones with a dangerous throw

  • Jones with a bad RPO (feels like that was the first time I’ve said that all year)

  • Good throw from Jones in the middle of the field but it was not enough for a first down and the CIN D was very there

  • Shepard with good separation, Jones with a late throw on hook outside

  • Vonn Bell with the strip, getting some meaningful stats on the board nice. He’s been mediocre this year

  • Gio with a nice run in space (thanks to the o-line)

  • Green with a semi drop, just a poor player now. Why on the field?

  • Higgins gets the ball again on third and long, good news for fantasy owners

  • Jones great job in the pocket feeling the pressure and delivering a strike, amazing

  • Jones semi beat a spy from a DT

  • Jones with a ball behind the receiver and almost picked by Alexander

  • Good sit down route Engram tight coverage and comes away with the grab

  • Mixed bag from Jones through the first half, still worried about the fumble stuff but nothing worries me about this game right now

  • Wow barley snuck in that field goal from NYG =(

  • Another good return from the CIN special teams

  • Gio doing his best but man NYG D-line is stone cold great

  • Gio with a drop on third down and 1 SAD!

  • Gallman with a nice run into the secondary, Bates with a likely savior-type tackle (good job Bates)

  • Engram with a really good contested catch, this is the play the gmen were expected from him when they drafted him lol

  • Gallman with a horrible screen run

  • Jones almost gave away the ball to Davis-Gaither

  • We have Colt now! It’s bad!

  • Allen scary throw over the middle

  • Allen please don’t throw to Bradberry

  • Nice fake from CIN

  • Williams is a fucking king

  • Tipped ball from CIn finally got picked, it was bound to happen. Peppers got beat on the tipped ball but not enough time to let that play develop

  • More good slants from Shep

  • Bell and Bates having maybe thier best game of the season but it’s against Colt McCoy/ Daniel Jones so it matters less

  • Allen you’re playing poorly, another ball in triple coverage that was tipped, stop doing it

  • Very back and forth game defensive battle

  • Shep fell down and then got up made a catch and a comeback, wow nice play

  • Tee getting more separation, man him and Jefferson are great players and yes I’m using them in the same sentence

  • Higgins for the TD! Love it

  • Good stop from CIN defense against a bad backup, but Allen gets sacked and loses the ball and it’s over before the Bengals could get to the opposite side of the field

Final Thoughts: Allen played worse than I thought he would but this is a very good Gmen defense so def a hard first start in 2020. Still love the gmen defense. Engram’s performance was great today but it feels like a fluke because we have seen so much bad. Shepard seems most likely to stay good, he just needs to stay healthy. The Giants offense with Jones was not good but with McCoy it’s yikes. Tee Higgins if you didn’t already know is going to be a star in the NFl very much like AJ Green WAS. It’s possible the CIN offensive line might be getting better but hard to tell vs NYG.

LAC vs. BUF

  • Allen finds the wide open Kroft for a TD, good job finding him tho

  • Herbert under pressure finding Allen

  • Ekeler with a good run, good to see him back maybe not at full usage but close to full health

  • Herbert to Ekeler on third down was basically perfect, Herbert under pressure too

  • Good job by Herbert finding Allen for the score, really impressive drive from him

  • Good job on waiting for the opening on the run by Singletary

  • Bosa with a great stop on 3rd down to beat the blocker and nail Allen

  • More dump offs for Hebert but on the first drive it was good passes, not anymore

  • Lots of pressure from the BUF defense

  • Good play by Klien on third down

  • Allen not looking great after the first drive, honestly that can apply to both QBs

  • Allen keeps getting hit, man this needs to stop, Beasley with a great throw for TD. That is on the LAC defense (100% on Tevaughn Campbell)

  • Allen bobbled and dropped another pass, last time he didn’t recover tho

  • Diggs with another great catch, lots of separation and good high grab

  • Allen on the designed run was great, best rush of the day

  • Bosa spied Allen and he tried to throw the ball way but he couldn’t , Bosa too good.

  • Bosa with the sack! If Chinn didn’t have 2 TDs he’d be an easy defensive player of the week

  • Good stiff arm from SIngletary

  • Herbert doing a great job in short throws today, under pressure a lot too

  • Lots of punts in this first half, more than I expected with these two supposedly great offenses

  • Third down run from Allen, fell weird, feel like an injury is coming on

  • Great slant from Diggs

  • I guess if you can’t do it in the air or on the ground just use Allen in the air and the ground

  • Herbert on 4th down lookin great

  • Kelly with a big run! Good bounce outside and kept the speed

  • Good job at the goal line for the BUF D line

  • Ekeler almost got the touchdown on the catch but Kelly with nice dive over the pile

  • Williams making some great circus catches, as it is known

  • I am surprised Williams doesn’t destroy defenders after the catch

  • Herbert got destroyed and they got roughing, Mike Williams almost had a great catch on the sideline

  • Wow great contested catch from Davis

  • Josh Allen just dropped a snap, damn. That was def on him

  • Herbert trying to throw cross body is bad idea but also he threw a bad pass

  • Herbert fumble but recovered it

  • DIGGS IS SO OPEN ALWAYS

  • Bosa with a tackle for a loss, is there anything he can’t do

  • Davis with a good pick, not a great decision from Allen

  • Herbert fucking just gives it right back, White with the good read, Herbert was starting down the receiver. Hasn’t been as good as the first drive

  • Allen getting another first down with his legs

  • Another screen that was snuffed out by BUF

  • Big drop from Guyton

  • Guyton with the big grab on the hail mary but he pushed off, sad!

  • 4th and 27 and they got another hail mary lol

  • lol what a terrible playcall from LAC, I remember that from the live game

FInal Thoughts: Good offense in the first quarter and basically up until the Beasley TD. Herbert had a great first drive then was semi downhill from there. Allen had a poor game by his standards. Williams needs to be thrown at more. BUF defense has still been player better this week, continuing a trend. LAC defense (mostly Bosa) played well even with the injuries. LAC offensive line was trash today. Allen was above average through most of the day. Normal stuff. BUF is a better team and it showed, LAC needs a new coach.

TEN vs. IND

  • If you thought the Colts could go 2-0 against TEN this year you’re dumb as fuck

  • Corey Davis, first play. Love to see it

  • Wow Henry on the pitch outside looked really good, that is hella surprising

  • Play action is killer on TEN

  • Not having Autry and Bucker really hurt INDY too, especially in the run game. It def shows

  • Wilkins is trash, Taylor would have been such an improvement if he didn’t have fucking covid lol

  • Like the Brissett coming in and playing, also got a lot of fantasy points lol

  • Pitman semi dropped a ball on a slant

  • Burton made a great grab over Byrd for the TD, good from Rivers

  • Henry on a catch in a lot of space kinda does nothing here

  • Tannehill is so smart, I’d love have him on my team god damn

  • Feel like Brown goes for long TD every week. It was a slant and broken tackle this time, killing it, didn’t even need to break tackle with his massive body he just outran people

  • Rivers with a good throw to Burton over the defenders head

  • Hines looking great in space and in the passing game. He’s probably good for that going forward

  • Pittman easy catch, good to see him get yards tho

  • Can we see more Jacoby this year plase, it can’t be much worse than Rivers

  • Leonard having a great game, def in the passing game too

  • The Tenn pass blocking hasn’t been great which is def bad for Tanny (he isn’t too mobile)

  • Love the throw from Tanny when he as time found an open receiver in the soft zone

  • Davis again very open and Tenny hits him

  • Big stop from the IND D line to stop Henry at close to full speed

  • Muhammad with a great rush to get the sack that was overturned, dumb

  • Henry getting to the corner to score, impressive

  • Henry is zooming this game, not really breaking as many tackles

  • On the second TD run Henry was breaking tackles, I love it

  • TEN is blowing out IND the defense only stopped TEN offense like one time.

  • Tanny so smart he kept the RPO and was untouched running into the endzone

  • Hilton getting more involved than I thought, would like to see more Pittman tho

  • Terrible throw from Rivers on the INT, just a horrible throw

  • Rivers over the middle almost picked, he is having a yikes day

  • Hilton with a damn good catch and after the catch run, but sad fumble (overturned lol)

  • Butler playing really well, getting the INT

Final Thoughts: So yea there wasn’t much to say by the end of this game. Rivers was ok in the first half and terrible in the second. time to at least give Brissett more work (like they did in this game). Hard to read too much into the defense when they were missing key pieces but they are also missing key pieces on the oline. it was fated from the start. Really impressed with Henry not just breaking tackles but cutting. Very nice game from him.

TB vs. KC

  • I watched this game almost in its’ entirety on Sunday and KC blew TB out of the water. Hill dominated some good corners but it seems like TB defense isn’t ready to be elite level but they are still soooo young.

  • KC settling for a field goal on the first drive, give a little credit to the defense

  • Good first rush from Rojo

  • Brady under some pressure and makes a high throw to Evans, not good

  • Surprising amount of flast starts and neutral zone infractions to start this game

  • Reek with the first TD, I’ve seen it 18 times, beat Davis on a deep route, Hill is track star and Winfield can’t catch up either, not a lot of people can do it

  • Hate this kelce reception, he’s usually great after the run but he just went backwards

  • Roll out blocking good from KC against a very good D line

  • Wonder how much TB is missing Vea, I don;t see too much of a marked different bth

  • Hill walks it in for the second TD, good to see him use some strength on the catch in addition to his crazy speed

  • White looking shitty in coverage, Kelce is dominating him. Hard to cover him tho

  • Mahomes is unfair, I should just shut up about it

  • Winfield, great blitz forcing an incomplete pass from Mahomes

  • Great side arm from Mahomes to throw through the hole for the first down

  • Does KC ever run the ball lol

  • On the fumble, reminder Pierre-Paul is having a great year

  • GRONKKKKKKKKK (that’s all you gotta know because he’s 100% back)

  • Godwin wide open over the middle

  • Great catch form Gronk, man I have never been so wrong and turned around

  • Rojo might just be stealing the starting job outright rn

  • Mahomes under crazy amount of pressure but still leading a good drive for FG, but they got to about the redzone

  • Gronk is beast moding out right now, so happy we are seeing less Antonio Brown, he isn’t worth it in this offense

  • Hill with another great catch, jumping in between two defenders

  • Whitehead has been playing a lot better recently, think he is becoming a solid contributor to the team

  • Davis keeps getting beat by Hill, why haven’t we switched to Dean?

  • Rojo busting out, love to see it

  • Tipped ball INT from Brady, the ball was very low on that, Brady’s fault on that pick

  • Game is over by the 4th quarter again, Evans and Brady hooking up for a score to make it more even. Double coverage good job evenas for beating the DBs in a footrace

Final Thoughts: KC is a great team and Gronk is back. TB has a very good d-line but sometimes Hill can just beat dudes deep and no one can do anything about it.

MIA vs. NYJ

  • Crowder, with a nice play to start this one

  • Darnold with an overthrow but the receiver was hella covered

  • Perriman with a great grab, good throw form Darold very deep (25 yardsish)

  • Jets defense showing up against MIA on thier first drive

  • Darnold def feels like a marked improvement this first quarter, frank gore helps too!

  • Darnold trying to thread the needle with good protection, MIA defense too good

  • Good coverage from the Jets D on the second MIA drive, just one guy fell down and allowed them to get the points

  • Mims not a lot of separation but courals the ball BUT he was way out of bounds lol

  • Parker on a slant, hard to stop? Maye can’t even handle him and he’s the best in the secondary for the Jets

  • What a catch from Gesicki, great route to beat the defender and even after Davis recovered he made a great grab. Love him, he’s gonna be such a stud in a year or two

  • Perriman with a semi drop, good route on a tough defender

  • Breida with some good runs, happy to see all the talent isn’t gone

  • Jets did a good job picking up the blitz, Darnold hung in there and made a good throw to Mims in zone and Mims took it long and far. Love it

  • Wow it is already the two minute warning, this game is moving fast

  • Jets doing a good job at protecting the QB, impressed

  • Fitz sailed one, saw Tua do that 5 times last week

  • Mims got flagged with PI, Howard lockin down

  • Welp Darnold looked good for a half

  • That INT was just really inaccurate and also a bad idea

  • I was worried about MIA only scoring 20 points coming into the game, I was right. They should have scored more

  • Oh god fumble from Breida I get that, def benchable

  • Laird fumbled too, this is a huge issue. But a fixable issue getting back thier good RBs.

  • Good stop on 4th the line did a great job there and Roberts hit the gab really well

  • MIA getting a sack now, yes, a coverage sack most likely

  • Good to see MIA dominating in the second half, def on the D

  • Bryce Hall getting some reps in finally, I love it

  • Shaheen with a score, just shows you that there are always random dudes out there that get TDs. Iget he’s been involved before but not consistently

  • Stop Sam, STOP, you should never throw at Howard. Perriman was not even open, Howard had him on lock. Such a different Darnold from the first half to the second

  • Fitz moves with the best of them, maybe a better runner than Tua

Final Thoughts: Darnold looked good for a half or so. NYJ have some good pieces but they probably need a good QB because there is talent at WR. But maybe they also desperately need a new coach, that would help. But I like what they are starting with, Beckton, Williams, Mims, Mayne and maybe even Hall are all good young players. MIA needs to stick it with Fitz unless he just complete implodes. You are 7-4 sniffing the division title. YOU CANNOT GO TO A ROOKIE WHO HAS NEVER BEEN GOOD IN THE NFL. Use Fitz, use the defense and win the division. It’s within grasp. Bills are the last game of the season damn. That should be dope.

LV vs. ATL

  • This might be the longest game of the weekend that didn’t go to overtime or maybe even just outright.

  • Some very good defense so far from ATL, we knew they had it in them, just needed those old stars to come back to thier partial former glory

  • Yea this game the ATL offense is without Julio, and they still dominated

  • LV defense is probably better than I want to admit but it is still bad

  • The offense def let down this week tho, will happen when you’re a good team but trend more to above average

  • Greg Olson used to be the Jags offensive coordinator and now he’s in LV and doing well. Seems like JAX is the place that ruins careers…

  • Carr has to hold onto the ball

  • Almost TD to Zack, Ryan just overthrew him

  • I feel like I could fix this Raiders defense in an offseason. Start with trading Abram because he never should have been drafted that high and is a box safety that belongs in the NFL circa 2000

  • Throw the ball earlier to Hurst please, he was wide open on the play action

  • Arnette going into the locker room is by far the saddest thing about this game

  • Ice’s INT was a bad throw but should not have been picked, lucky tip

  • Run defense is stuffing the run, the line and linebackers doing it in tandem

  • Ruggs with a good contested catch on Oliver

  • This is a defensive battle in the first half, Ryan and offense hasn’t looked that good. It’s been the Hayden Hurst show so far lol

  • Raiders now zeroing in on Hurst, this offense is really missing Julio I take back what I wrote earlier

  • R. Allen made a good play on the ball even though it was a free play

  • Renfroe with a really good contested catch that was out of bounds. He’s showing me new stuff every week and I love it

  • I’m ganna chalk this fumbling stuff up to the ATL defense playing inspired and call it a fluke for LV. Will monitor going forward tho

  • Both offenses are not looking good into the third quarter, how does this one blow up?

  • Carr is having a bad game but it’s the first of the year for him, don’t sense this is a pattern.

  • Dion Jones regaining former glory with the TD, love to see it

  • ATL doing a great job of snuffing out play actions at the goal line, impressive I don’t think I’ve seen good play action defense all season and def not at the goal line

  • Really good drive from ATL to get the TD in the 3rd, but Ryan almost fucked it up by staring down Ridley and almost throwing a pick

  • After ATL kicked the field goal to go up 33 to 6 I feel like I don’t need to watch this game anymore

  • Oh man I can’t believe there are more fumbles for LV in the 4th. Kill me

  • I want to stop watching, someone send help. Is Peterman in yet?

  • Nice run from Hill but there wa s giant hole for him to run through

Final Thoughts: ATL offense performed worse than I thought it would, that isn’t good. They need Julio back like the Jags need a new everything. Good news is the ATL defense was strong as fuck and dominated a good offense and a Pro Bowl QB. ATL gets a rematch vs Taysom Hill and they are hot on defense. Let’s see if that continues because if they can’t stop Hill like they did Carr then I would be surprised but it could mean a few different things. Hard to understate how bad of a loss for LV, the offense was bad. Way too many turnovers from Carr and the defense is bad and now getting worse with the Arnette injury. Still think this should be a playoff team tho.

CLE vs. JAX

  • Ready to watch Glennon succeed and almost win

  • Drop by Eifert from Glennon and wow this is just a fun Jaguars team init. Not a sentence I thought I would say a year ago.

  • Jags got a sack! Proud of Smoot on a blitz with 5 pass rushers, good first drive from the Jags defense

  • Robinson still tight as fuck, the Browns are missing some good players tho. But so are the Jags and they have Glennon at QB soooooooooooooo

  • Deep ball to Cole was a good idea but it was way too much of rainbow pass

  • Landry went off today right, makes sense. The Jags don’t have thier top 2 CBs

  • Good catch from Landry in the endzone that was well covered. Also this is Baker on play action so he was unstoppable obvi

  • Colin Johnson with a good catch =) IDK how much he will play when Chark is back

  • Good job on Robinson and the line of third and short obvi running situation

  • Baker with a good throw on the blitz to Khadarel Hodge

  • Again to Hodge! Baker on play action is undefeated

  • Baker missed a wide open Higgins for a score but they got it anyway

  • Robinson good stop and cut, love it

  • Reverse to Shenault, almost stopped on a dime but the field did not hold up lol, nice attempt from a very big guy. I’m into it

  • Johnson with a nice grab and nice route for a TD but man we can not ignore the throw from Glennon. It was a nice throw.

  • Quicker first half than I thought

  • Hooper was wide open, god the Jags can never cover tight ends. Def in the red zone it’s difficult for them.

  • Browns giving the ball away lol Nice to see Wiggard make the recovery, he’s been ok this year. Def shined at points

  • Good call by the Jags on 4th and one, Robinson is such a tank fuck me

  • Great job fighting for the TD, Eifert

  • Good throw on 4th down from Baker on an outside route

  • Sooner or later Hunt was gonna explode and he did in the passing game. When are we gonna see Chubb?

  • Baker on play action is the best QB in football

  • Good run by Shenault again

  • Robinson a little slow on the cut but he bounced it outside

  • Jags on the opponents goal line stuff Hunt for a run but the next play they gained like 7 yards

  • Cleveland is just pounding the rock and dominating the Jags, now we see Chubb coming alive

  • Hunt after contact pushing for the first down is inspiring.

  • Let’s see the Jags comeback drive, of course it’s Robinson lol

  • Glennon just missed Eifert for another score, he was open in the middle of the field

  • I really hope I’m not fooled by Robinson like I may have been last year =(

  • Glennon at least tried on the two point attempt

  • Obvi the Jags could not stop the running attack of the Browns, not a lot of defenses can

Final Thoughts: So not much to gleam, the Jags are a bad team and the Browns beat bad teams. Not by much but it still happened. Both teams were missing important players but it was week 12 so you gotta expect that in a season like this (or a regular one). Baker isn’t a good QB, he isn’t a good fantasy QB but he does his job. Defense wasn’t that good against Glennon but missing important guys (Garrett). Could be troubling. For the Jags Glennon looked better than Luton so far, but I can feel the implosion incoming. The Jags have some good offensive weapons tho, just have one of the worst defenses in the NFL (def with the injuries).
