Ok first wavier wire of the year let’s check it out.
QBs
There is only 1 guy I want to speculate on (besides in superflex/2QBs) and that’s Jameis Winston. 5 TDs vs a very good GB team is not to be ignored even by me. Only threw 20 passes and I havn’t had the chance to do a full review but still impressive nonetheless. Worth a shot if you don't like your QB right now. He has top12 upside for sure.
RBs
1. Elijah Mitchell/JaMycal Hasty/Tre Sermon
If you can grab a part of the SF backfield you should. Love the run blocking and they will throw whoever at RB as long as they are hot. :)
2. Larry Rountree III
Handcuff for Eckler but he might be the best one all year outside of Pollard and Mattison
3. Rhamondre Stevenson
Will the fumble cost Harris his job, precedent says yes.
4. Mark Ingram
Looked good against a bad Jags D and if he’s the 1A or 1B I want some part of it. Don’t expect big things tho.
5. Carlos Hyde
I hate Urban Meyer but maybe he wants to use Hyde more than initially anticipated. He looked ok against a bad defense.
WRs
1. K.J. Hamler
He should see more targets now that Jeudy is gone, Gmen have a good D so may have limited him as well in week 1.
2. Cedrick Wilson
Gallup is out, Wilson should slot in nicely.
3. Elijah Moore/Denzel Mims
Add the Jets passing offense, I worry about how bad thier Oline played but the receivers played well. Mims just needs a shot idk how it’s possible he isn’t getting one.
4. Tim Patrick
Might take the role away from Hamler in Jeudy’s absence so worth a shot maybe.
5. Van Jefferson
The big TD on national TV obviously will push his stock higher but I was already high on him going into the year
6. Quintez Cephus
Looked good on film with a good QB, DET played surprising well against a playoff caliber team so should be interesting to watch.
TEs
1. Cole Kmet
He out-snapped Jimmy G so fire up you’re Kmets. That was the the only issue.
2. Jared Cook
Best TE on is team, he should have already been added.
3. Anthony Firkser
Same as the above, should never have been dropped or not drafted.
4. Hayden Hurst
Was used a decent amount compared to Pitts (because he’s a rookie). Might trail off or they might use Pitts outside more. Either way Hurst is still young, good and involved (right now).
5. Tyler Conklin
The fill in for Irv, not sure if Osborn or Conklin will be involved as the 3 but I think there is only room for one more fantasy relevant player and it might be Conklin.
DSTs
These are just teams with good macthups
1. New Orleans Saints
2. Seattle Seahawks
3. Arizona Cardinals
4. Las Vegas Raiders
5. Miami Dolphins
