NFL Waiver Wire Week 2 2020

Waiver Wire Week 2

Less spicy then week one but with the injuries there are still replacements to be had

The below is a list of guys you should roster or should have been owned last week before waivers went down (I wrote about most of these guys last week). I usually have guys on the list who pop up in major media outlets as waiver wire adds.

- Dallas Goedert
- Myles Gaskin
- Russell Gage
- Joshua Kelley
- Frank Gore
- OJ Howard
- Allen Lazard
- Corey Davis

Some of the below guys are repeats from my honorable mentions last week.

1. Mike Davis: Easily my favorite guy on film and if you’re a McCaffrey owner he slots in very nice here. He fit in really nice in the passing game when he finally got time. I was very happy with him on film with 8 receptions and 74 yards even if he did only rush once it shouldn’t matter because CAR will be playing from behind every Sunday.

2. Devonta Freeman: With all of RB injuries it was going to be a matter of time before Freeman was signed. He isn’t landing in the most desirable of spots but he should get a majority of carries in the future. Dion Lewis got a lot of good looks last week and if he can take over the role he might be worth an add but I’m going with Freeman first.

3. Jerick McKinnon: Injuries are def a thing and with Coleman and Mostert injured it falls to McKinnon to be good. We haven’t seen him take on a big role in an offense maybe ever? So while this is a risk he should be perfectly slotted to have most of the carries/catches out of the backfield.

4. Dalton Schultz: I was really impressed he had as many opportunities as he did (10 targets) but it was a high scoring game so probably had something to do with it. I wanted a pierce of this offense in the form of whoever is ganna be the tight end so if that’s Schultz give it to me.

5. Laviska Shenault: I may have been a doubter during the draft but that’s changing now since the Jags really want to get him involved. In a high powered offense like the Jags he should be added across the board.

6. Chase Claypool: From what I saw I loved the deep ball game from him. He can be a homerun hitter, a game day superstar and sometimes he’ll fall flat but if Big Ben keeps slinging it and doesn’t get hurt or retire I like Chase a lot in the offense.

7. Darrell Henderson: I’m a little concerned about Henderson as a runner, he was fine but I feel like more of a JAG then the other RBs on here but if injures are keeping Akers and Co. out he’s a super easy add this week.

8. Michael Pittman: He seems to be coming on slower than I expected but with Campbell out there is no way Pascal overtakes him on the depth chart. Pittman is talented and the clear number 2 now for IND and you should have him on your team. It’s simple

9. Mecole Hardman: I still believe in Hardman, hopefully against easier opponents he can come out on top. Not sure what’s going on with Watkins in terms of injury but if he’s out it could very easily be Hardman’s time to shine now and going forward all year.

10. Tre'Quan Smith/Deonte Harris: Not sure which one I like more honestly you can probably get Harris cheaper so maybe go with him but both are going to be involved with the Saints offense going forward.

  • I shouldn’t need to say this but make sure Mike Gesicki is on a team IDK how he could be on waivers but you need to add him
