My 2022 NFL Draft Grades
You can check my twitter for the initial reactions. But here are the possibly more refined grades. As a reminder the grades take into account how good the players is, how much value the team got out of the pick (for example if I had a 3rd round grade on a player and they got him in the 5th thats good value. If i had a 5thr ound grade on him and they took him in the 2nd that’s bad value), and if they fit with the team (both in scheme and consider the other players at the position).
First Round
JAX (1): Trevon Walker
Grade: B+
Welp this is not unexpected. He's my number 4 EDGE and my 16th best player on the big board. BUT I will say adding another lineman who can rotate multiple positions in a 3/4 will be valuable to Doug and Co. so not the worst pick all things considered.
DET (2): Aidan Hutchinson
Grade: A
Number 2 on my board and my number 1A EDGE. Smart pick, hopefully we get a healthy year out of Okudah so we can see these high draft picks succeed in Detroit. Almost a no brainer for DET and they are probs right, don't overthink it.
HOU (3): Derek Stingley Jr.
Grade: A
My 3rd best CB (but it's close) and my 8th favorite overall. Defense, like every position is a position of need for HOU so that helps the grade. I like taking chances on injured guys and I'll take a chance on the freshman year tape.
NYJ (4): Sauce Gardner
Grade: A
My favorite CB in the draft and coincidentally my 4th best player on my big board. Lockdown corner who may have have a similar career to another NYJ CB that has his own island.... Bryce Hall and Sauce are going to be a great tandem going forward.
NYG (5): Kayvon Thibodeaux
Grade: A+
Homerun pick for the Gmen, thought they would go OL first but to be fair none have been taken yet and even if CAR takes one they can just grab a leftover (but still good) player. Number 1 on my Big Board, great selection.
CAR (6): Ikem Ekwonu
Grade: A
Would have prefered Neal here but Ikem gives you positional flexibility to maybe play guard if he doesn't work out at tackle. Don't count out CAR taking a QB later tho, this young team is doing a great job of team building. They just need a QB.
NYG (7): Evan Neal
Grade: A+
The Gmen are killing it so far. Had the order reversed but this was the right pick(s) no matter how you figure it, they end up with my EDGE1 and my OT1. Neal is a monster and I would have loved seeing him go 1 overall so getting him at 7 is amazing.
ATL (8): Drake London
Grade: A
My number 9 prospect and my favorite WR. Hard to go wrong with London he's very safe imo and if the Mariota experient is going to have any chance of succeeding they need a guy like London at least while Ridley is out. Good selection for the future.
SEA (9): Charles Cross
Grade: A
Yea this is a position of need. They still need a QB but building from the interior out is never a bad idea and I like this prospect. He's my Number 3 OT and number 11 overall. Still expect SEA to take a QB at some point tomorrow or today even.
NYJ (10): Garrett Wilson
Grade: B
OK so this isn't a miss but I don't love this pick, I have a first round grade on GW and the Jets really don't have many holes. Would have prefered Williams or Olave here but Wilson to Wilson isn't a bad combo for years to come. My WR4 and 26th overall.
NO (11): Chris Olave
Grade: A+
Love love love this for NO, they might have two of the best route runners in the NFL. He should have gone before Wilson but he was damn sure worth trading up for. My WR2 and 14th best player overall. A position of need to help Winston out. Need a OT next.
DET (12): Jameson Williams
Grade: A-
Not sure if this is a position of need (which kinda lowers the grade) considering how awful that defense looks. But Williams is a great player who joins some other really good WRs in Chark and St. Brown. My WR3 and my 17th overall player.
PHI (13): Jordan Davis
Grade: B-
I like Wyatt better but the Eagles love building in the trenches and this was probs BAL pick so I get why they had to jump them. Cox is gone soon so getting his replacement isn't too bad even if I think this was a reach. My 47th overall player.
BAL (14): Kyle Hamilton
Grade: A+
I like Wyatt better but the Eagles love building in the trenches and this was probs BAL pick so I get why they had to jump them. Cox is gone soon so getting his replacement isn't too bad even if I think this was a reach. My 47th overall player.
HOU (15): Kenyon Green
Grade: D+
Bad pick but I guess points for versatility? That's why this isn't an F and also they needed to beef up the OL as much as possible. But Green is my IOL5 and my 48th overall player. Yikes.
WSH (16): Jahan Dotson
Grade: B-
Another reach but I've really come around to Dotson, WSH making a push for the division this year for sure. Dotson is going to come in and make a difference right away. I would have prefered a LB but not a bad pick at all considering it's a reach.
LAC (17): Zion Johnson
Grade: A
Great selection at a position of need. I'm a huge fan of Zion and I love how the Chargers have been drafting the past two/three years. My 13th best player on my Big Board and my favorite guard (outside of Ekwonu if you consider him a guard)
TEN (18): Treylon Burks
Grade: A-
Man this TEN WR group looks so different from a year ago. But it might be just as good. Burks and Woods on the same team might be a dream if Burks works out. My WR5 and my 30th ranked player. Great selection considering the roster construction.
NO (19): Trevor Penning
Grade: A
Almost perfect. New Orleans could end the draft now and have killed it. They needed a tackle they got my OT4 and 18th overall player. They got Olave who was my WR2 and 14th overall. Just a great draft, NO staying super relevant this year (if Winston works).
PIT (20): Kenny Pickett
Grade: B-
Not my favorite QB. In fact he was tied for the 4th/5th best QB. BUT I don't hate Pickett at all, he could be a good QB and he might be the most pro ready. So as much as I'd rather have Corrall or Willis or Howell, Pickett isn't bad.
KC (21): Trent McDuffie
Grade: A+
Perfect selection, worth the trade up. My CB2 and my 5th favorite guy in this draft. KC needed defensive help and considering all the shootouts they get into getting a lockdown corner is a huge need. McDuffie is lockdown.
GB (22): Quay Walker
Grade: D
Reach for sure, could have taken on day 2 imo. Is LB really a need? esp with Devin Lloyd and Nakobe Dean still out there is Walker the right guy? Not good considering they still desperately need a WR. He's a 2nd rounder in my book and that's kinda generous.
BUF (23): Kaiir Elam
Grade: A
Needed to replace Levi Wallace and Elam just happens to be my 23rd ranked play in this draft. A position of need BUF hits this one out of the park. Like Booth more but Elam isn't that far behind.
DAL (24): Tyler Smith
Grade: F+
Grade: Yea this was a position of need but I'm not a fan of Smith at all. So many better options at tackle. He's my 13th ranked OT and 101st overall player.
BAL (25): Tyler Linderbaum
Grade: A+
What a fucking day for BAL. Linderbaum is my 2nd favorite offensive player in the draft. He's perfect for BAL scheme and he's severely underrated just because he's a little undersized and plays center. He'll be an all-pro in no time in BAL.
NYJ (26): Jermaine Johnson
Grade: A-
I'm not a the biggest fan of Johnson but this is about right for the talent he could have. Had him going 4th overall to the Jets in my mock so I'll take this as a win. My 27th overall player in this draft so yea this right.
JAX (27): Devin Lloyd
Grade: A-
Oh my god I love this pick, I'll take Lloyd on a rookie deal over Jack any day of the week. Baalke making up for a shaky first overall pick? Yea kinda. Look Lloyd is my 21st ranked prospect and I devalued him since LB isn't as important as other positions.
GB (28): Devonte Wyatt
Grade: A-
My 29th ranked player so this is the right time for him to go. Think he probably slides in nicely as a 3/4 end in their system. Only reason this isn't a higher grade is because DL wasn't as much of a need as WR.
NE (29): Cole Strange
Grade: C+
LMAO of course they went for a guy from Chattanooga. Classic Bill. Honestly this should be an "F" but I always give Bill the benefit of the doubt. He knows what he's doing. My 11th ranked IOL btw.
KC (30): George Karlaftis
Grade: A+
Another A+ from KC, wow what a day from BAL and KC they really really improved themselves. Karlaftis is my EDGE3 and my 12th ranked player in the draft. He should never have fallen this far. KC using the Tyreek picks in an odd but good way.
CIN (31): Daxton Hill
Grade: A
CIN only has one real hole and that's at the CB position. I like Hill more as a slot CB than safety but if they want to put him anywhere as a DB I'm fine with that. Very good pick that makes the defending AFC champs even better. My 33rd ranked player.
MIN (32): Lewis Cine
Grade: B
Not a bad pick but there are other safeties I'd rather have like Jalen Pitre/Bryan Cook/Jaquon Brisker. It's at a position of need and he's my 39th ranked prospect so not that far off I guess.
Best Draft Picks Round (1)
1. KC (30): George Karlaftis (A+)
2. BAL (25): Tyler Linderbaum (A+)
3. NYG (7): Evan Neal (A+)
4. NYG (5): Kayvon Thibodeaux (A+)
5. KC (21): Trent McDuffie (A+)
6. NO (11): Chris Olave (A+)
Worst Draft Picks Round (1)
1. DAL (24): Tyler Smith (F+)
2. GB (22): Quay Walker (D)
3. HOU (15): Kenyon Green (D+)
4. NE (29): Cole Strange (C+)
5. WSH (16): Jahan Dotson (B-)
TBH there were a lot of good picks in round one, esp the top 10 which is a nice surprise.
Round 2
TB (33): Logan Hall
Grade: B
TB really smart with the pick here. I had him listed as my Interior DL Number 3 so he's the next best guy out there and this was really their only position of need. Good selection just not my favorite prospect (54th) so can't have a higher grade.
GB (34): Christian Watson
Grade: C-
Welp the only reason it's as high as a "C-" is because this was an obvious position of need. Would rather have Pickens, Moore, Metchie, Ross, Austin or Pierce over him. MIN actually doing themselves a favor with this trade lol.
TEN (35) Roger McCreary
Grade: B+
My next available CB on the board. Don't really think this is a position of need but maybe they aren't sure about Farley's health. Adding depth at CB is never a bad idea tho. He's my 32nd overall player and CB6
NYJ (36): Breece Hall
Grade: C
A little bit too early for any RB in this draft for me but Hall is my RB2. He'll be the thunder to Carter's lightning. Should be a fun backfield to watch.
HOU (37): Jalen Pitre
Grade: A+
Sucks one of my favorite players in the draft went to a division rival but whatever. He's my 15th overall player, my Safety2 and at a position of need. Enough said.
ATL (38): Arnold Ebiketie
Grade: B-
Not great, a position of need for sure because the ATL defense has like maybe 3 good players on it. He's just not my favorite EDGE in fact he's my EDGE10 and the 49th player on my big board. He is a second rounder to me but this is a bit early.
CHI (39): Kyler Gordon
Grade: C+
I don't hate this since he's the next best CB available on my board. But I have him ranked as my 64th best player and don't think it's a need. But adding depth to a rebuilding team's secondary isn't bad. Unsure how I feel on this one but def not my fav.
SEA (40): Boye Mafe
Grade: A
Great pick at a position of need. He's my 6B (tied with Jermaine Johnson) and one of my best available coming into day 2. Building from the trenches is smart and they got two great pieces on both sides of the ball.
SEA (41): Kenneth Walker
Grade: F
Terrible pick and not really at a position of need. Better have a good OL or else Walker will struggle. IDK why they didn't take a QB here unless they expect Walker to throw passes. Bad pick, just bad. Have fun with Drew Lock I guess.
MIN (42): Andrew Booth Jr.
Grade: A
Position of need, one of my best available and my 19th ranked player. MIN finally addresses their CB need this year. Great pick, nuff said.
NYG (43): Wan’Dale Robinson
Grade: F
You better start trading some of these WR because there are too many of them on this damn team. My 104th ranked player. Gatta balance out that great Day 1 right Giants fans?
HOU (44): John Metchie
Grade: B
A little bit early for Metchie but even tho hes my WR10 I still like him a lot. 2nd rounder for sure. Good pick to help out out Davis Mills or whoever they draft next year.
BAL (45): David Ojabo
Grade: C-
Too early for Ojabo, he's def a project but he profiles more as a 3rd-4th rounder. Hopefully he can be more than a speed rusher. Went to a good team to try and develop him tho so that raises the grade. My 84th best player.
DET (46): Josh Paschal
Grade: B
He's a tough one for me, a late riser in my rankings and I think he's talented. But I don't know if he's going to do much more than bull rush dudes. But loading up on DL isn't bad for DET so I don't think the grade could be lower. My 56th ranked player.
WAS (47): Phidarian Mathis
Grade: D-
Yea he's like a big dude in the middle but like WSH has the best interior in the NFL or at least close to it. Couldn't you get a rotational guy later in the draft? idk think there are other needs, anything else woulda been better imo.
CHI (48): Jaquon Brisker
Grade: A-
My 34th ranked player. Love that the Bears are adding to the secondary in a really smart way. Making the most of these day 2 picks. Just keep adding to the defense and get a WR in the 3rd and this is a great haul. Think I woulda prefered WR here tho.
NO (49): Alontae Taylor
Grade: F
NO thanks. My 13th ranked safety. Old, not exciting, bad technique. Not sure what they saw here besides a future special teamer.
NE (50): Tyquan Thornton
Grade: N/A
Was unable to scout him just know he's fast. I'll trust Bill on this one but this is one of the more unorthodox drafts for a team I've seen in a while.
PHI (51): Cam Jurgens
Grade: A
Very nice, love him as the Kelce replacement for the Eagles. A really perfect spot. My 6th ranked IOL and my 55th ranked player. Build from the trenches, the Eagles love it and so do I.
PIT (52): George Pickens
Grade: A-
I love Pickens, he should have gone higher. My 43rd ranked player and WR7. Just not sure he's a need when the OL looks like it does.
IND (53): Alec Pierce
Grade: C
A position of need I guess but he's my 93rd ranked player and my 13th ranked WR so I guess that tracks at least. But I would have rather shorn up the DL or secondary or OL than draft Pierce.
KC (54): Skyy Moore
Grade: A
A position of need and a huge riser for me as I dove harder into the draft process. Mahomes is going to love throwing to him. Great pick.
ARI (55): Trey McBride
Grade: A-
Love that they have Ertz and McBride. Hopefully he can learn from Ertz for the year or so he's there. McBride is the easy TE1 and my 61st best player in the draft. Good selection. Think I woulda rather have gone DL but this is fine.
DAL (56): Sam Williams
Grade: A
Great pass rusher, my 40th overall player, a position of need. Hard to imagine a better pick here for DAL (Kingsley Enagbare would have been the only better EDGE). Want to give this an A+ but I just can't.
TB (57): Luke Goedeke
Grade: A+
Great value at a position of need. My 38th ranked player and my 3rd ranked IOL. The rich keep getting richer.
ATL (58): Troy Andersen
Grade: A
Great pick, this dude is a fucking freak and I love taking a chance on him late in the second. Would have rather Nakobe Dean but he's a great fill in for the LB they lost to the Jags.
MIN (59): Ed Ingram
Grade: D-
Huge reach but loading up on the OL for MIN isn't bad so I couldn't give this the "F" it deserves.
CIN (60): Cam Taylor-Britt
Grade: D+
I don't love the prospect but I love they keep adding to the secondary which is basically their only need now. My 14th ranked CB but didn't make it into my top 105. See him as a 4th/5th rounder.
SF (61): Drake Jackson
Grade: A
My 46th ranked player and I was even low on him compared to consensus. Only reason this isn't an A+ is because I think they should have gone corner. Great value pick tho and damn what a DL in SF.
KC (62): Bryan Cook
Grade: A+
Have I given KC anything less than an A+ so far this draft? I think no, this is at least their 3rd A+. He's my 22nd ranked player in the draft and my 3rd ranked safety. Was really hoping he would make it back to JAX. KC defense looking like an A+.
BUF (63): James Cook
Grade: D+
Can hit a homerun and can catch but can he do anything else? Adding another middling RB to a middling RB room isn't exactly what you want to see. My RB6.
DEN (64): Nik Bonitto
Grade: B
Yea this is about right for Bonitto. Like him but don't love him. Still have a few other EDGE players I prefer but he will be a fine on a DEN D that adds very good depth to their EDGE group.
Best Draft Picks Round (2)
1. HOU (37): Jalen Pitre (A+)
2. KC (62): Bryan Cook (A+)
3. TB (57): Luke Goedeke (A+)
4. ATL (58): Troy Andersen (A)
5. KC (54): Skyy Moore (A)
Worst Draft Picks Round (2)
1. NO (49): Alontae Taylor (F)
2. NYG (43): Wan’Dale Robinson (F)
3. SEA (41): Kenneth Walker (F)
4. WAS (47): Damarri Mathis (D-)
5. MIN (59): Ed Ingram (D-)
There were a lot of choices for the best pics in round 2, liked a lot of the selections here so if I left a few A’s off there know it was really close!
3rd Round
JAX (65): Luke Fortner
Grade: N/A
Think this was a reach but I didn't grade him so can't really say. A position of need tho since Linder retired.
MIN (66): Brian Asamoah
Grade: B
My 66th ranked player so this is kinda perfect. Still rather have Dean, again, but this is a fine selection. They probably needed a young good LB and that can be Asamoah.
NYG (67): Joshua Ezeudu
Grade: N/A
Didn't rank him but like that the NYG are adding to this OL. Even if he is just depth I still don't hate it. If I had to give an instant reaction with my limited knowledge on the player this is probably a C+.
CLE (68): Martin Emerson
Grade: F
I'm not a fan, he just kinda feels like a big dude with lots of limitations. He's my 15th CB and I had him as a 5th rounder. Not great and not really at a position of need at all.
TEN (69): Nicholas Petit-Frere
Grade: B
My 77th ranked player so this is about right and he's a at a position of need (OL). Not a bad selection at all. Not even thinking about taking a QB are they @ NFL journalists.
JAX (70): Chad Muma
Grade: C+
Kinda odd considering they traded up for a LB in round 1 but Muma is tackling machine. Maybe they see Lloyd as more of a pass rusher or maybe they want to have as much flexibility on defense as humanly possible. my 89th ranked prospect so ok value.
CHI (71): Velus Jones Jr.
Grade: N/A
Didn't get to zone in on him as a prospect but um I don't think I would have taken this guy as early in the 3rd as the Bears did. At least they drafted a WR.
SEA (72): Abraham Lucas
Grade: B+
My 78th ranked player on my big board. Like the player, like building the OL but think I would have rather gone QB here.
IND (73): Jelani Woods
Grade: C+
He may be my TE6 and my 58th ranked offensive player in this draft but I don't hate taking a chance it's just a little early. Think TE is be a position of need kinda too so that gives it a bump.
ATL (74): Desmond Ridder
Grade: A
I had my QB4A and QB4B go before any of my other QBs. So that's fun. He has a lot of upside and a lot of downside. Taking a chance on him in the 3rd is really just great value. Good drafting ATL, they needed to add a QB.
HOU (75): Chrisitan Harris
Grade: F
Not sure how you take him over Nakobe Dean. This is getting kinda crazy. I don't hate Harris as like a flyer in the 4th but he's my LB10. At least it's a position of need.
BAL (76): Travis Jones
Grade: B+
My 68th ranked player, my 4th IDL and the next best available at the position. Thought the Ravens would get a DT in the first but I think they should be very happy the way the draft has gone so far. Good player and good value.
IND (77): Bernhard Raimann
Grade: A+
He's def a project so I get why he fell so far but this is excellent value. I hate when teams in my division do things so right. Would have also considered QB here. My OT5 and 25th ranked player in this draft.
CLE (78): Alex Wright
Grade: N/A
Don't have much of a read on Wright, there are plenty of other EDGE players I would have rather have tho. Not sure I like CLE's mid round picks the past two years.
LAC (79) JT Woods
Grade: B
This is fine, they needed to add someone to the secondary. Have him listed as a safety but he can play CB and love his developmental traits. Worth a shot for sure in the 3rd.
DEN (80): Greg Dulcich
Grade: B+
This is a real nice pick for both fantasy and real life. He's a plus receiver that will add another dimension to this offense after Fant was traded. Good pick and good enough player for 80 overall.
NYG (81): Cordale Flott
Grade: N/A
Slot CB is more of a need than outside for the NYG but I don't have much of a read here. At least it wasn't another WR.
ATL (82): DeAngelo Malone
Grade: A
This is a good EDGE class and Malone is my 67th ranked player in this years draft. A little undersized but is really great at getting to the QB. At least he can be a 3rd down pin your ears back pass rusher. Keep adding to that defense ATL.
PHI (83): Nakobe Dean
Grade: A+
Congrats Eagles, you didn't overthink it like almost every other franchise did. You draft these guys for 4 years not just one. I don't care about this injury at all.
PIT (84): DeMarvin Leal
Grade: B
I like him a good amount and this is a position of need if Jack doesn't work out. Good pick.
NE (85): Marcus Jones
Grade: B-
So he's a great special teamer (obvi the reason Bill wants him). My CB13 and in the third it's a reach but not out of character for NE or this draft.
TEN (86): Malik Willis
Grade: A+
A developmental player and honestly he fell way too far. Lots of options here for TEN going forward, but very happy that Malik will be sitting for a year or even 2. Mutually beneficial pick. QB3.
ARI (87): Cameron Thomas
Grade: A
My EDGE 12 and my 58th best player in this draft. Great selection at a position of need. Has some great advanced stats and has some great pass rushing moves. Very good selection.
DAL (88): Jalen Tolbert
Grade: B
My 98th ranked player and there are other WRs out there I'd rather have but they needed to bring in someone to replace Cooper and you could do worse than Tolbert.
BUF (89): Terrell Bernard
Grade: B-
A little early for sure but BUF needed to add a LB. Had him in the 4th round but endish of the third isn't too bad. There are other LBs I'd rather have tho. This grade could or maybe should be a C+ My 12th ranked LB.
LV (90): Dylan Parham
Grade: A+
Great pick, underrated by everyone. My 42nd best player in this draft. Def needed to add to the OL, whether you put him at guard or center it doesn't matter he's a big enough now to play in the NFL and does everything really well. Perfect offseason?
TB (91): Rachaad White
Grade: F
LMAO my comp was Lenny. Not a position of need and I'd rather have a bunch of other RBs. He's my RB12.
GB (92) Sean Rhyan
Grade: A-
My 80th overall player. I like him more as a guard tho. But the Pack will have some flexibility on the OL. Either way this is a good selection, needed to add to the OL almost as much as WR.
SF (93): Tyrion Davis-Price
Grade: C
SF and taking RBs in the draft every year name a better combo. My RB10 but I'll be very interested in him for fantasy purposes unless they draft another RB I like better.
CAR (94): Matt Corral
Grade: A+
My QB1 and Carolina completes the rebuild. They have got it all, they got a great coach and their signal caller of the future. Next year CAR will be making the playoffs or maybe even this year. Love this pick, love CAR's roster.
CIN (95): Zachary Carter
Grade: D+
My 19th EDGE, this is a reach. I guess he can play inside too which might be the reason they took him. Don't love the interior for CIN and maybe he will rotate in on obvious passing situations.
IND (96): Nick Cross
Grade: A-
I really like Cross, he's my 60th best player available. Love the range and the traits, all he has to do is not play so reckless. Good selection, only reason the grade is not higher is because this is probably where he should go (in the 3rd).
DET (97): Kerby Joseph
Grade: A+
What a steal. He was my 50th ranked player in this draft and honestly he coulda been higher. Was just saying I would love if he fell to the 4th and the Jags could possibly trade up to get him but nope DET made a smart move. Love it.
WFT (98): Brian Robinson
Grade: C-
Not sure why they drafted an RB in the third but even tho he's my 13th ranked RB I don't hate the prospect. He can be like Marion Barber III resurrected in the NFC East. Kinda weird tho when they have a power back already but OK.
CLE (99): David Bell
Grade: A+
David Bell has been disrespected this draft. My 45th ranked player in the draft and my WR9. A great compliment to Amari in CLE. Watson has a good group of WRs to throw to.
ARI (100): Myjai Sanders
Grade: B
Def worth taking a shot on Sanders here. Love his play vs Bama but he struggled vs less good teams. Once we get into double digits I'm all about potential.
NYJ (101): Jeremy Ruckert
Grade: D+
He can block but he's also my TE9. Worth a fourth rounder but not a 3rd even if it's a late one.
MIA (102): Channing Tindall
Grade: A-
My LB7 and 82nd overall player. Probably a position of need too. MIA is a good team that is getting even better. Happy for them, the 2022 AFC East Champs.
KC (103): Leo Chenal
Grade: A
KC is killing it this draft. My number 70th player on my big board. This defense is going to look very different and it's going to be very good. KC shooting back up to be the division favorite in my eyes.
LA (104): Logan Bruss
Grade: N/A
No idea on him but I like that the Rams are adding to the OL. Probs a C+ if you put a gun to my head.
SF (105): Danny Gray
Grade: C-
He's fast, Deebo replacement? lol. Not sure they need another guy like him on the outside but if Trey starts I get why they want to stretch the field as much as possible.
Best Draft Picks Round (3)
1. CAR (94): Matt Corral (A+)
2. DET (97): Kerby Joseph (A+)
3. TEN (86): Malik Willis (A+)
4. PHI (83): Nakobe Dean (A+)
5. IND (77): Bernhard Raimann (A+)
6. LV (90): Dylan Parham (A+)
7. CLE (99): David Bell (A+)
Worst Draft Picks Round (3)
1. HOU (75): Chrisitan Harris (F)
2. CLE (68): Martin Emerson (F)
3. TB (91): Rachaad White (F)
4. CIN (95): Zachary Carter (D+)
5. NYJ (101): Jeremy Ruckert (D+)
Not too bad of a 3rd round honestly, there were a few surprises. 7 A+s is really nice.
4th Round
TB (106): Cade Otten
Grade: A-
Good selection, my second favorite TE in the draft and a 4th round grade. Position of need too but I can't give it a much higher grade because he's not the best player.
HOU (107): Dameon Pierce
Grade: C
A position of need for sure, my 8th ranked RB and there are like 3 in front of him still available. But Pierce isn't a bad RB, will be fantasy relevant this year just wish it was Spiller.
CLE (108): Perrion Winfrey
Grade: B-
Yea this is about right for him, think they needed to add to the DL. I'm a little low on him too so this is a high grade for a player I don't really love and considering I had other IDL higher.
SEA (109): Coby Bryant
Grade: A-
Very nice pick, one of my top available players. Plenty of tape on this guy to show he can ball. Had him right behind Muma in my top 105 list. Love it.
BAL (110): Daniel Faalele
Grade: A+
I might have to be a Ravens fan with the way they are drafting. This dude is a monster and is going to bully guys on downhill blocks when the Ravens run for 300+ times this year. Excellent landing spot and excellent value.
NYJ (111): Max Mitchell
Grade: A-
Ok so getting a backup tackle is fine for this team. Just make sure Wilson stays upright through injuries or whatever, keep him alive. Good pick but I think the defense needed more help here. My 73rd ranked player.
NYG (112): Daniel Bellinger
Grade: D-
My 12th and last ranked TE, bad pick but at least it's at a position of need.
WSH (113): Percy Butler
Grade: F
Heavy reach, my 15th and last ranked safety. Plenty of other options out there to take if you wanted a safety or a special teamer.
NYG (114): Dane Belton
Grade: B-
This is about right for Belton, had a 4th round grade and I love his instincts. 10th ranked safety for me.
DEN (115): Damarri Mathis
Grade: B-
About right for DEN, love his eyes and has lots of passes defended in his career. Nice pick just not really in love with the position for DEN, but it's very forgivable considering their roster. My 12th ranked CB.
DEN (116): Eyioma Uwazurike
Grade: D
He's a real big dude but this a reach. Had a 5th or 6th round grade on him and he's def not worth a 4th but at least he has good hands. Don't hate adding to the DL either he's just a bit too risky at 116.
NYJ (117): Michael Clemons
Grade: D
He's old and middling but at least he has good size. Not worth the risk in the 4th. Had him as more of a late 5th rounder. My 20th ranked EDGE.
MIN (118): Akayleb Evans
Grade: D+
There is a lot to dislike with his play but since they got a starting CB yesterday having a developmental guy like Evans sit for a bit isn't the worst thing in the world. Had him more as a late 5th rounder.
BAL (119): Jalyn Armour-Davis
Grade: A-
Stop being so good Ravens, stop please save some good players for the rest of hus. Had a 3rd/4th round grade on him and I don't care about the medicals. He's got plenty of upside and even could start right away.
CAR (120): Brandon Smith
Grade: A-
A great pick, worth the risk in the 4th on his athleticism. Worth the trade up too. My LB9.
NE (121): Jack Jones
Grade: N/A
NE gets their guy but I didn't grade him. Like they are adding to the secondary tho, they will need it if they want to compete in the AFC East.
LV (122): Zamir White
Grade: D-
I guess this is a fine depth piece, but wouldn't have traded up for him. Don't know why these teams are passing up on clearly superiors options. Bad pick.
LAC (123): Isaiah Spiller
Grade: A
Great pick to compliment Eckler, perfect time to take an RB. He's my RB1 and every other team that passed on him will regret it.
CLE (124): Cade York
Grade: N/A
4th round kicker is cringe but I love the NFL draft desk commentary so it's an easy A+ if I had to grade it.
MIA (125): Erik Ezukanma
Grade: N/A
I only graded out 20 receivers and this draft has had about 20 already so there will be a bunch I'm not fully aware of. Taking a WR is kinda weird here tho. Would have rather gone defense.
LV (126): Neil Farrell Jr.
Grade: D+
He seems more like a NT to me, odd choice and had him as a 5th or 6th rounder so too early for sure. Lots of bad stuff on tape.
NE (127): Pierre Strong Jr.
Grade: C
Don't hate what the Pats will do for his development but there are still 3 other RBs I'd rather have. NE loves their small school dudes.
BAL (128): Charlie Kolar
Grade: D+
Not my favorite fit at all, he better be used as strictly a pass catcher. Think his run blocking leaves much to be desired. Also a little early. First bad pick by BAL and it's a bad pick.
DAL (129): Jake Ferguson
Grade: C-
Ok pick, not sure I see much upside tho. Weird landing spot and had him as a 5th-6th rounder.
BAL (130): Jordan Stout
Grade: N/A
He's from Penn State so he must be good. I don't grade K/P even though they are really important to the NFL I don't have the eye for em.
TEN (131): Hassan Haskins
Grade: N/A
I didn't get to grade him but I am a fan. Like adding depth to this TEN RB room.
GB (132) Romeo Doubs
Grade: A-
This is fine value but I love the landing spot. Good player who is kinda a developmental guy. I think if pressed into service, tho, he can be a really good player. Don't like him more than Watson but Doubs is my WR16 and Watson is my WR14. Good pick.
TB (133): Jake Camarda
Grade: N/A
Not sure all these punters going in the 4th is such a good idea. Feels like teams are panicking.
SF (134): Spencer Burford
Grade: N/A
Didn't get to deep dive him but he seems athletic which is what you want for the 9ers going forward, fine OL pick.
KC (135): Joshua Williams
Grade: N/A Is KC remaking their defense or is KC remaking their defense? Didn't get to scout him and it worries me he wasn't on my radar and went to a small school.
CIN (136): Cordell Volson
Grade: N/A
Another small school guy, not really a fan of this one. But at least he'll get to sit and develop.
NE (137): Bailey Zappe
Grade: D+
Weird pick for sure, they drafting another late QB so they can trade him. I guess getting a backup is more necessary in the NFL than it used to be but this is just weird.
PIT (138): Calvin Austin III
Grade: A-
This guy is super interesting. Had a 3rd round grade on him. Big fan and an excellent route runner. Fits perfect with Pickett (have to believe that was an influence) but man where does this leave the rest of PIT's receivers?
BAL (139): Isaiah Likely
Grade: B+
Way better pick for BAL, they are back on track for having a historically good draft. My TE4 and the best available TE. Good job doubling up here.
GB (140): Zach Tom
Grade: A+
I'm really high on Tom and I credit PFF for showing me the light. Easy A+ here. My 35th ranked player and my OT6. Love what the Pack are doing on day 3, this is where smart GMs make good moves. Love it.
BAL (141): Damarion Williams
Grade: N/A
Another Houston CB is meh, didn't scout him and didn't really think I needed to.
LAR (142): Decobie Durant
Grade: N/A
Kinda fast, very raw. At least he won't be forced to start. Probably too early for him.
TEN (143): Chigoziem Okonkwo
Grade: D+
He can catch at least but it's still too early for me. Don't hate it just think it wasn't good value.
Best Draft Picks Round (4)
1. GB (140): Zach Tom (A+)
2. BAL (110): Daniel Faalele (A+)
3. LAC (123): Isaiah Spiller (A)
4. GB (132) Romeo Doubs (A-)
5. SEA (109): Coby Bryant (A-)
Worst Draft Picks Round (4)
1. WSH (113): Percy Butler (F)
2. NYG (112): Daniel Bellinger (D-)
3. LV (122): Zamir White (D-)
4. DEN (116): Eyioma Uwazurike (D)
5. NYJ (117): Michael Clemons (D)
Wish Spiller went to a better backfield but I’ll be interested in him either way.
Round 5
WSH (144): Sam Howell
Grade: A+
How did he last this long? HOW. Love this for WSH, they got the QB for now and they have a QB for later. Happy that he will sit even if it's only for 8 or so weeks. Reminds me of Josh Allen so the sitting is probs necessary.
KC (145): Darian Kinnard
Grade: A-
My 100th ranked player, great value. Bolstering the OL is never a bad idea. Love this pick. My 12th ranked OT going this late has got to be great value but there are concerns for sure (mostly in his technique not his traits).
NYG (146): Micah McFadden
Grade: N/A
I only looked at 15 LBs and they seem to be going at a higher clip. I watched a lot of Big 10 football but I wasn't super impressed with McFadden in my limited interactions.
NYG (147): DJ Davidson
Grade: N/A
Another guy I can't give a grade to but I don't hate this pick at all. Like adding to the defensive front for NYG. Although I will say this NYG draft has gone downhill kinda fast.
BUF (148) Khalil Shakir
Grade: B-
A fine slot replacement for BUF. This is in the right range too. Good pick.
WSH (149): Cole Turner
Grade: N/A
Ehhhhhh, this is fine. Probably the right round. Would give it a C- or D+ if I had the chance to do a deep dive.
HOU (150): Tomas Booker
Grade: A-
PFF said it best "Has high end starter flashes and athleticism. They come once in a blue moon." Good pick and good value. Highest grade I could give.
ATL (151): Tyler Allgeier
Grade: A
My 4th ranked RB in this draft, great value. Can be a 3 down back super easily and landed in a great spot. I love it.
DEN (152): Delarrin Turner-Yell
Grade: N/A
A backup safety and maybe special teamer? fine.
SEA (153): Tyreek Woolen
Grade: A
A great developmental piece. He might be the most projecty guy in the draft and I love that he's going to Seattle. My CB9. Go get it dude.
JAX (154): Snoop Connor
Grade: N/A
Well I guess the Jags really do like their WR room. RB was inevitable but I'd much rather my RB4 then a guy I didn't scout.
DAL (155): Matt Waletzko
N/A
Another ND OL? Odd but I guess I should have watched more Division 2 tape. Not usually a fan of these picks, almost impossible to tell how well they will make the jump.
CLE (156): Jerome Ford
Grade: C
He's a project and won't sniff the field this year so I don't hate it even if I had a 7th round grade on him.
TB (157): Zyon McCollum
Grade: C+
This is about right for him, needs to develop. Hope he won't be forced onto the field too early. If so this grade gets worse.
SEA (158) Tyreke Smith
Grade: N/A
Adding to the defense is smart, like that they are hitting almost every defensive position in this draft too. FULL REBUILD BABY.
IND (159): Eric Johnson
Grade: N/A
No scouting on him for me buffing up the interior DL in a division that might be more run heavy isn't the worst.
LAC (160): Otito Ogbonnia
Grade: D+
Like him more as a 4/3 DT than a nose but he could play both. This is the right round but he needs to have a better anchor if he's going to stay in the league.
NO (161): D'Marco Jackson
Grade: N/A
Was unable to do a deep dive but don't hate grabbing a LB here. Would have preferred Jojo or Damone Clark or Mike Rose or someone else. I know I said I disliked DII or DIII guys but app state is a bit different.
DEN (162): Montrell Washington
Draft: N/A
Did they really need to add another WR? Can he do special teams work? I hope so.
TEN (163): Kyle Philips
Grade: C+
Good slot receiver but kinda of unexceptional, some may say he's one of the best slot guys after the first two rounds but I'm not so sure. Not a bad pick tho and they probs need a slot guy now.
LAR (164): Kyren Williams
Grade: A+
Couldn't really give this any higher of a grade even if I wanted to. LAR have a loaded squad and loaded RB room. My RB3 and my 86th ranked player in this draft.
MIN (165): Esezi Otomewo
Grade: N/A
I don't think this pick will be relevant but I can't say for sure as I did not have him on my scouting report. You'll see a lot of these coming up. I scouted around 200 players but I'm unsure if all those will get drafted even.
CIN (166): Tycen Anderson
Grade: B-
Not a bad pick at all, think consensus was even higher on him than I am and I like the pick. Adding to the secondary is so important after CIN already bolstered their OL in FA. Played various positions in college, unsure where he will stick in CIN.
DAL (167): DaRon Bland
Grade: N/A
Another CB is necessary probably. Scouted 25 CBs and he wasn't on there. Not a great sign but I can't say if I hate it or not.
CHI (168): Braxton Jones
Grade: B+
Had him as a 3rd-4th rounder so this is good value. He's big and he can handle speed rushes. That's all I need to see to take him in the 5th but he offers much more than that. Think I'd rather have Justyn Ross but helping out Fields with OL is important.
MIN (169): Ty Chandler
Grade: N/A
No scouting on him, no clue but I like UNC runningbacks and he has some accolades I guess. MIN has had a weird draft.
HOU (170): Teagan Quitoriano
Grade: N/A
A tight end, again (talking about last year). Kinda odd when the defense looks like it does but you do you HOU.
DEN (171): Luke Wattenberg
Grade: N/A
A center is interesting for sure. Not sure I like it but can't be sure.
SF (172): Samuel Womack
Grade: N/A
About time where I'll just listing them from now on if I don't have a better insight.
NYG (173): Marcus McKethan (IOL)
Grade: N/A
CHI (174): Dominique Robinson
Grade: C+
Has a ton of potential, is a project, I worry about the age and level of competition but not that much this late in the draft. Fine selection.
LV (175): Matt Butler
Grade: A-
Really good value for a guy I had a late 3rd rounder on maybe a early 4th. Had a late breakout which I'm sure everyone is sour over but I don't care. He wins with a great pass rush and has the numbers to back it up.
DAL (176): Damon Clark
Grade: B+
The only reason he fell is because of the injury. Love taking a chance on him past around 150 so this is a good pick. Could have been a 3rd rounder if not for injury.
DET (177): James Mitchell
Grade: C+
Not sure this is a guy they needed but he can be an H-Back. Good receiver but they kind of already have a good receiving TE. Had a 4th round grade on him so good value.
DAL (178): John Ridgeway
Grade: B-
Well built and sound, good awareness and football IQ. Love adding him to this DL. Don't see a lot of negatives here so I like this move. Good job DAL.
GB (179): Kingsley Enagbare
Grade: A++
It's frankly disgusting that it took this long before he was drafted. My EDGE5. Great job Packers. At minimum he can be a Fowler type guy and they got him at the end of the 5th. Insane value.
Best Draft Picks Round (5)
1. GB (179): Kingsley Enagbare (A++)
2. WSH (144): Sam Howell (A+)
3. LAR (164): Kyren Williams (A)

3. WSH (149): Cole Turner (N/A)
4. NO (161): D'Marco Jackson (N/A)
5. DEN (162): Montrell Washington (N/A)
Probably had my favorite pick of the draft in the 5th this year but lots of good picks here. Lot of As compared to last year and a lot of dudes I didn’t scout. it’s been a long year lol.
BUF (180): Matt Araiza
Grade: N/A
Welp I actually know a bit about him. Hope he's good but I still don't like Bills fans so I'm not happy about it.
PHI (181): Kyron Johnson
Grade: N/A
NYG (182): Darrian Beavers
Grade: C+
One of the most average guys out there but can do a lot. Like this pick and maybe there is some room for growth. About fair fair value. Hard to give this a higher grade with the description I provided.
NE (183): Kevin Harris
Grade: N/A
Another Harris in this backfield lol. Pats always love refreshing their RB room and I don't hate it.
MIN (184): Vederian Lowe
Grade: N/A
I like adding to the OL but I still think there are defensive guys I want. I'll take Lowe tho even from the scant few mentions I've seen over some other guys left.
BUF (185): Christian Benford
Grade: N/A
From Villanova? Is this basketball? Has some nice career stats but do those even matter when your playing in whatever division Villanova is in.
CHI (186): Zachary Thomas
Grade: N/A
Thought this was Zach Tom and I got excited but he's already long gone. Like adding to this OL but think they have their two OTs already settled. Nothing wrong with depth tho.
SF (187): Nick Zakelj
Grade: N/A
A little bigger than I thought SF liked for thier OL but ok, nothing wrong with adding OL depth.
DET (188): Malcolm Rodriguez
Grade: B
Had a 4th round grade on him. Love how he sees the field. Hopefully they can use him correctly. My LB13.
CAR (189): Amare Barno
Grade: C+
Good speed, hope he can tack on some mass and add some more pass rush moves (that work). Fine dev guy pick. Had a 5th round grade on him.
ATL (190): Justin Shaffer
Grade: N/A
Didn't get to scout him, really wanted to. Want to believe this is a good pick but I'm not sure.
MIN (191): Jalen Nailor
Grade: N/A
Another guy I wish I had time for. Like the pick.
IND (192): Andrew Ogletree
Grade: N/A
Would have prefered Wydermyer.
DAL (193): Devin Harper
N/A
LB
MEH
NO (194): Jordan Jackson
Grade: N/A
LAC (195): Jamaree Salyer
Grade: A
I was probably lower on Salyer than most but this is too late even for me. Good selection, had him as a 4th rounder but 195 is way too late. He was so close to falling to the Jags and I'm mad yet again at the Chargers for having such a good draft.
BAL (196): Tyler Badie
Grade: N/A
Love his name and don't hate the player. Looked into him a bit yesterday but yea not enough to give him a grade. Like adding to this backfield with all their RBs coming off injuries.
JAX (197): Gregory Junior
Grade: N/A
Why didn't you draft Ross. You drafted Travis for Trevor why not Ross. Fuck you Baalke.
PHI (198): Grant Calcarerra
Grade: N/A
CAR (199): Cade Mays
Grade: N/A
The Panthers need OL help and a QB. They got and are getting both. Great job.
NE (200): Sam Roberts
Grade: N/A
Small school guy Think that's Bill's only requirement this year.
ARI (201): Keaontay Ingram
Grade: N/A
Probably needed to add another RB. Good compliment to Connor I think.
CLE (202): Michael Woods II
Grade: N/A
Another WR? Add it to the pile of middling WRs in CLE. How can you not take Ross here? I know he's off some teams board completely but c'mon.
CHI (203): Trestan Ebner
Grade: N/A
Cohen replacement? Special teamer? Like the pick.
TEN (204): Theo Jackson
Grade:N/A
Has to be a backup but glad they are taking one for the safety position.
HOU (205): Austin Deculus
Grade: N/A
I've said it before and I'll say it again for HOU, they need to add to that OL. Keep doing it just like this.

TEN (219) Chance Campbell
Grade: N/A
SF (220) Kalia Davis DT
Grade: B-
He is my IDL10 but only had a 5th round grade on him. His weight might be an issue but getting him in the 7th is good value.
SF (221) Tariq Castro-Fields CB
Grade: D
Played 5 years and didn’t really see any improvement is almost the nail in the coffin. But he looks really good in press!
JAX (222) Montaric Brown CB

Like his crafty route running, kinda reminds me of Marvin Jones. Don’t hate this pick at all
WSH (230) Chris Paul OG
Grade: D
I really hate that he didn’t do well in the senior bowl and vs better schools but he’s a project so this isn’t an F because he could be a nice 6th lineman as a guard or tackle.

I mean he’s fast right? that’s cool. That’s all I really like about him honestly.
KC (243) Jaylen Watson CB
Grade: D+
Like his body type and think he can get bigger. Has some very yikes negatives so I think at this point would have been better to grab him as a UDFA
